Members of GNAT visited TURKPA Secretariat

On 19 September 2018, members of the Commission on Foreign Affairs of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (GNAT) paid a visit to the TURKPA Secretariat. The delegation was headed by the Chairman of the Commission Mr. Volkan Bozkır and comprised of Mr. Mustafa Canbey, Mr. Ali Şahin, Mr. Ahmet Ünal Çeviköz, Mr. Kamil Aydın and Mr. Aydın Adnan Sezgin. Secretary General Altynbek Mamaiusupov welcomed the guests and informed the Commission members on current and future activities of the Assembly, including preparations for the Eighth Plenary Session and celebration of TURKPA’s tenth anniversary in this framework to take place in November 2018 in Turkey. The parties also exchanged views on the ways of strengthening Turkic cooperation and emphasized the need on shifting to the practical and result-oriented cooperation between the member countries under the TURKPA aegis.
