Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the TURKPA International Observers Mission

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Elmar Mammadyarov received the TurkPA International Observers Mission. Mr. Mammadyarov said that TURKPA within a short span of time has transformed into a full-fledged inter-parliamentary institution. He noted that activity of the TURKPA Observers Mission is an important aspect in the development of cooperation among Turkic-Speaking States. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister said that institutionalized cooperation both at the intergovernmental and interparliamentary levels contributes to the integration processes of the Turkic-Speaking nations. Mr.Haluk Ipek informed the Minister on the activities of the TURKPA Observers Mission and underlined that TURKPA had already monitored presidential and parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzystan and Turkey.
