International conference “Livable and sustainable heritage cities” held in Baku

On 10 October 2023, acting Deputy Secretary General Saky Sadykov took part in the international conference under the theme “Livable and sustainable heritage cities” co-organized by the Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration and the Organization of Turkic States. The opening ceremony of the event was attended by Azerbaijani state officials, representatives of international organizations and other institutions. The conference focused on the management of historical cities, preservation and restoration of historical monuments, sustainable tourism, digital transformation in historical cities and reserves, organization of museum work and other issues.
