Graduated from Bursa Imam - Hatip High School and Anadolu University Faculty of Medicine. Doctor of Medicine. Specialized in Chest Diseases and Tuberculosis at Istanbul Süreyyapaşa Chest Hospital. Since 2000 worked as a specialist at Izmit Seka State Hospital.

Served as the Head of the Kocaeli Branch of MAZLUMDER (the Association for Human Rights and Solidarity for Oppressed) and later as the General President. Took active roles in various Non-Governmental Organizations and platforms. Published articles on human rights and politics in local and national media organizations.

On 24 June 2018 elected as Kocaeli deputy of the GNAT of the twenty-seventh convocation. On 14 May 2023 also elected as Kocaeli deputy of the twenty-eighth convocation and member of Health, Family, Labor and Social Affairs Committee.
