On 14 November 2023, the TURKPA delegation headed by the Secretary General Mehmet Süreyya Er met with the Chairman of the Assembly of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Zorlu Töre.

Head of Parliament expressed gratitude to TURKPA for sharing the Turkish Cypriots’ joy of celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the TRNC as the remarkable event in the history of the country.

In his turn, Secretary General expressed gratitude to Mr. Töre for warm welcome and invitation to take part at the events dedicated to the 40th Anniversary of the TRNC. Parties stressed the importance of strengthening of Turkic cooperation, as well as discussed the aspects of mutual relationships.
