On 14 November 2023, within the framework of its visit to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), the TURKPA delegation led by the Secretary General Mehmet Süreyya Er was received by the President of the TRNC Ersin Tatar.

Stressing the importance of participation of the TRNC in the activities of TURKPA as an observer, President Ersin Tatar expressed the willingness to strengthen further relationships and cooperate with all dimensions of Turkic interaction platform.

Expressing his gratitude for warm welcome, Secretary General congratulated President Ersin Tatar on the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of the TRNC.

Secretary General gave detailed information on TURKPA activities and future plans.
