Seminar on implementation of confidence building measures in military-political dimension in CICA was organized by the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with CICA Secretariat on 11 October 2017, in Astana.

Military experts and representatives of embassies from Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Korea, Russia, Turkey, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam and CICA observers such as Belarus, USA, Ukraine and Japan participated in the seminar.

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the Regional Counter-terrorism Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization also attended the seminar.

During the seminar representatives of Armed Forces of Russia, Turkey and Kazakhstan, and Secretariats of CICA and OSCE made presentations on their activities and cooperation in military-political dimension.

On 12th of October, Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized visit for participants to Baikonur Cosmodrome.

TurkPA Secretary General Jandos Asanov and Commission Secretary Emin Hasanov participated in the event.
