On 31 August 2023, Secretaries of Commission of TURKPA Kunduz Rustembekova and Kadir Yaman participated in the visit organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan for representatives of diplomatic corps, military attachés, as well as foreign journalists to Aghdam.

As part of the program, the participants of the visit were on Aghdam-Khankendi road. They viewed the functionality of the road and became acquainted with the location of two trucks of food cargo on the Aghdam-Khankendi road dispatched by the Red Crescent Society of Azerbaijan to residents of Armenian origin living in Karabakh.

Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev informed the participants about the current situation.

On 29 August, the Red Crescent Society of Azerbaijan organized the delivery of humanitarian aid consisting of 40 tons of flour to residents of Armenian origin living in Karabakh through the Aghdam-Khankendi road. The humanitarian aid had been waiting to pass the checkpoint of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in the area.
