On 21-22 February 2019, first meeting of legal experts on the improvement of legal basis of TURKPA was held at its premises in Baku.

Experts from the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, as well as representatives of the Secretariat participated in the meeting.

Participants reviewed the current state of the TURKPA’s legal documents and conducted discussions on revised statutory documents of the Assembly such as Rules of Procedure, Regulations of the Secretariat and new Regulations on Election Observation.

The next second meeting of legal experts is scheduled to be held in the second part of April 2019.
