Secretary General attended Turkic Academy events

Secretary General Altynbek Mamaiusupov delivered a speech during the Third Meeting of Scientific Council of International Turkic Academy held on 30 January 2020 in Baku. The meeting brought together ministers of education and deputy ministers, representatives of international organizations and academic communities.

In his speech, Secretary General stressed the importance of the activities carried out by the Turkic Academy in implementing scientific research on Turkic history and culture, as well as in promotion of common Turkic values worldwide. Mr. Mamaiusupov expressed his confidence that close cooperation between two organisations will be more fruitful in the future.

After the successful conclusion of the chairmanship, the Kyrgyz side handed it over to the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

On the same day, Secretary General made a speech during official opening ceremony of the “Year of Abai” organized by International Turkic Academy in Baku State University.

Mr. Mamaiusupov emphasized the role of Abai’s creativity in Kazakh written literature and increasing the visibility of the Turkic World. He noted the importance of promotion of the work of great figures of the Turkic World and informed on future events dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the great thinker planned to be held with co-organization of TURKPA.
