TURKPA attended the 4th International Congress on Economics, Finance & Energy (EFE’2020) titled “Political Economy of Energy Revolution” that was held through video conference on 14-15 October, 2020.

The Congress was jointly organized by Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, Nigde Omer Halisdemir University and Dokuz Eylül University. Main topics of the Congress were low carbon energy production, renewable energy, climate change, energy independence, energy efficiency, electric vehicles, financing of large energy investments and other topics related to economy, finance and energy.

Secretary of the TURKPA Commission on Environment and Natural Resources Mr. Emin Hasanov delivered a speech during the Panel on Energy and Environment. He informed the participants on the activities being carried out within the Assembly in this context, including drafting model legislation and possible future projects.
