On 9 July 2023, a meeting between the election observation missions of TURKPA and Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS (IPA CIS) took place in Tashkent within the framework of the observation of the early presidential election in Uzbekistan.

Parliamentarians, Secretaries General of both organizations and other members of the missions took part at the meeting.

Observers from the two organizations informed on the activities of their missions and exchanged views on the monitoring process of the early presidential election in Uzbekistan. The parties discussed the prospects of development of cooperation and dialogue between the assemblies.
