On 23 February 2022, representatives of Azerbaijani branch of the Turkish Association of Independent Industrialists and Businessmen (MUSIAD) led by Mr. Rashad Jabirli, head of MUSIAD's Azerbaijani branch visited the TURKPA Secretariat and met with Secretary General Mr. Mehmet Süreyya Er.

Mr. Jabirli informed the Secretary General on the activities of MUSIAD and stressed that their main goal is to provide active participation in the global economy. He also expressed the readiness for future fruitful cooperation.

In his turn, Secretary General thanked the guests for the pleasant visit and emphasized the MUSIAD as an Association sensitive to rights, law, justice, equality, historical and moral values. He also welcomed the activities implemented by the Association in various parts of the world.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views over the prospects of cooperation.

MUSIAD was established in 1990 in Istanbul. The association is a capital platform that currently unites 12,000 members representing nearly 60.000 enterprises with 1.8 million employees,169 contact points, including 88 in Turkey and in 74 countries across 81 locations. The Azerbaijani branch of MUSIAD has started its work since 2018 in Baku.
