On 17-18 June 2022, the first meeting of the Young Parliamentarians Group hosted by the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the theme "In the age of technology - Children and Youth is the future of Turks" was held in Nur-Sultan.

Young parliamentarians of the member countries, the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and young deputies of the AMANAT Party of Kazakhstan took part in the meeting.

In this frame Mr. Yerlan Koshanov, TURKPA Chairman-in-office, Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan received the participants of the first meeting of the Young Parliamentarians Group. Chairman informed the participants on the systemic transformations being carried out in Kazakhstan and the significance of the referendum that was held recently.

The program included the visits to the Expo 2017 International Exhibition Center, the National Museum, IT Academy, Alzhir Memorial and panel meetings with the Young Deputies Corps.

Stressing the importance of such meetings, young parliamentarians highly valued their contribution to the expansion of cooperation among the countries, as well as strengthening the role of parliamentary diplomacy.
