TURKPA International Observers’ Mission will observe the upcoming extraordinary elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

TURKPA International Observers’ Mission will visit Kazakhstan to observe the upcoming extraordinary presidential elections to be held on April 1-5, 2011. An ObserversMission consists of the members of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyz, Turkish Parliaments and the Secretary General of TURKPA, Mr. Ramil Hasanov. Its planned to observe the elections by TURKPA mission in Astana, the capital of Republic of Kazakhstan.

The visit of TURKPA International Observers’ Mission will be carried out under invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the framework of the visit the meetings of TURKPA delegation with the Secretary of State - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Kanat Saudabayev and Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Mr. Kuandik Turgankulov are planned.

Observers` Mission will present a final report on the elections during the press conference on April 4, 2011.

Observation of upcoming extraordinary presidential elections in Kazakhstan will be the 3rd TURKPA election observation. Before TURKPA International Observers’ Mission observed the parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan on October 10, 2010 and in Azerbaijan on November 7, 2010.
