TURKPA was granted an observer status in the PABSEC.

During the 40th Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) General Assembly, held in Baku on November 27, 2012, TURKPA was granted an observer status in PABSEC. After the voting process, TURKPA Secretary General Ramil Hasanov delivered a speech and thanked the delegations of the member countries for the highest confidence and support.

PABSEC was established in 1993, and since then it has been one of the leading international parliamentary organizations in the region and worldwide.

Cooperation between TURKPA and PABSEC will contribute to the development of further relations between them, and thus this step will take TURKPA to the beginning of new stage in the system of international relations in the future.

The role of parliamentary diplomacy is also growing in the political dialogue and exchange of views at different levels of development. In this respect, TURKPA fully supports the strengthening of mutual relations with the PABSEC.
