Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan, visited TURKPA International Secretariat.

Mr. Ramil Hasanov, TURKPA Secretary General met with Mr. Alper Coşkun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan, in the office of the TURKPA International Secretariat on 13 February 2013.

Greeting the guest, Mr. Hasanov gave detailed information on the TURKPA’s activities and main objectives of organization on the enhancement of relations in the political, socio-economic, cultural and humanitarian fields among Turkic-speaking countries. Secretary General expressed his deep gratitude to the Turkish embassy in Baku and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey for comprehensive support to the TURKPA’s activities.

Mr. Alper Coşkun thanked TURKPA Secretary General for detailed information and emphasized that Republic of Turkey pays particular attention to the development of TURKPA. Mr. Ambassador noted the special role of parliamentary dimension in the cooperation process of Turkic-speaking states that makes unique contribution to maintaining effective dialogue among elected representatives of member countries. He highly appreciated coordinating role of the TURKPA International Secretariat in successful interaction between parliamentarians of member countries and wished every success in their future endeavours.

Deputy Secretaries General Mels Semgaliyev, Bektemir Ziadinov, Kursad Melih Sariarslan and Secretary on International relations and protocol issues Anar Rahimov took part at the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Ambassador wrote his cordial words to the memorial book and then family photo was taken.
