Today, the Turkish nation, which has lived free since time immemorial, with pride and happiness celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Republic, which was proclaimed at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, the supreme manifestation venue of the nation’s will, on October 29, 1923, following the great victory of the blessed struggle it undertook to break the chains that were intended to be imposed on it. On this meaningful day, the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States wholeheartedly joins the excitement of Türkiye with its state and nation and congratulates the Republic Day with the hope that it will last forever in peace and well-being under the shadow of this century-old plane tree, which is a source of inspiration for oppressed nations in their struggle for existence.
