TURKPA Secretariat lowered flags at half-staff on the Day of Mourning in Azerbaijan

Sharing the grief of the Azerbaijani people, the TURKPA Secretariat lowered the flags to half-mast on 26 December 2024, which was declared as a Day of Mourning by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev due to the tragic loss of lives in the crash of plane operating the Baku–Grozny flight near Aktau, Kazakhstan. With profound sympathy, TURKPA extends its deepest condolences to the people and leadership of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as the nations of all countries impacted by this tragic and difficult loss. In this moment of sorrow, TURKPA grieves the heartbreaking loss of lives and conveys its deepest sympathies to the families of those who lost their lives in the unfortunate incident, while wishing a swift recovery to those injured.
