Message of Condolence and Solidarity by the TURKPA Secretary General on the Crash of the Turkish Air Force Cargo Plane

The tragic crash of a Turkish Air Force military cargo aircraft, which departed from Ganja, Azerbaijan en route to Türkiye and went down near the Georgia–Azerbaijan border on November 11, 2025, has deeply shaken and saddened us all. The grievous loss of the heroic Turkish servicemen aboard has inflicted a deep wound upon the heart of the Turkish nation. We extend our profound condolences to the brotherly people and the Armed Forces of Türkiye, pray to Almighty God to grant eternal rest to the souls of the martyrs, patience and strength to their bereaved families, and a swift recovery to the injured. In this time of mourning, the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States stands in steadfast solidarity with its founding member, the Republic of Türkiye, and the Turkish nation. We trust that the forthcoming accident investigation report will shed full light on the causes and circumstances of this tragic event. Our brotherhood is one and everlasting. In these difficult days, together with all members of the Turkic World, we share this profound grief and once again reaffirm our unity and solidarity.
