Congratulatory Message by Ambassador Ramil Hasan, Secretary General of TURKPA, on the occasion of the Election of the Kyrgyz Republic as a Non-Permanent Member of the United Nations Security Council for the First Time

On behalf of the International Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) and in my personal capacity, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to the Kyrgyz Republic on its election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the first time.

This significant achievement is a clear reflection of the international community’s high level of confidence in the Kyrgyz Republic’s contributions to multilateral diplomacy, the principles of international law, and the promotion of peace, security, and sustainable development.

We are confident that representation in the United Nations Security Council will further enhance the Kyrgyz Republic’s role in strengthening international peace and security, and that it will make a valuable contribution to the work of the Council.

As TURKPA, we believe that this important development will serve the prosperity of the fraternal Kyrgyz people and further enhance the country’s international standing, and we reaffirm the continued support of the Turkic States for the Kyrgyz Republic.

We extend our best wishes to the leadership and the people of the Kyrgyz Republic and express our confidence in their success in fulfilling this important responsibility.
