Today, on 12 December, we commemorate the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, the prominent statesman and political figure, Heydar Aliyev. The legacy and ideas of the Great Leader, who secured an enduring place in Azerbaijan’s centuries-old history through his unparalleled service, consistently worked for the unity and solidarity of the Turkic World, and dedicated his remarkable life to the well-being of his people and to the strengthening and development of the Azerbaijani state, will continue to serve as an inspiring example for future generations. We honour and pay tribute to the cherished memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev with deep respect and reverence.
